Memorial Garden
The aim of this project was to produce a garden in memory of Mr Arthur. This can then be used by all children of the school as part of their outdoor learning and also give somewhere to sit and reflect.
The space had great potential, as an amazing wildlife area, which would greatly support both the students learning and also the local population of animals, bugs and birds.
The memorial garden had its grand opening at the Summer Fayre in 2023.
Mr Belsham, and he has done a great job throughout the project. Ongoing work is still needed to help maintain the area.
Garden Progress
Here are some photos from our volunteering weekend in March 2023. The children are so lucky to have this space at school. Once it is finished it will be an amazing spot from them to enjoy and use. There are lots of signs of insect life about the space, even a big bumble bee was spotted today, so hopefully the revamp will be great for the local wildlife too.
Thank you
Here are the fabulous people who have supported the garden.
